Madita van Hülsen

It all begins in Hamburg, where Madita is launched onto the stage of life in 1981, as if in a colourful cloud of confetti. Discovered as a child model for the Otto catalogue, she grows up there and, after a formative break in New York, completes her degree in communications as a qualified business communication specialist.

She finds her calling: people’s life stories. Without pausing for breath, she establishes herself as a presenter for a wide range of television and event formats, working with broadcasters such as Sat.1, kabel eins, RTL and VOX.

As if that weren’t enough, in 2011 Madita launches IDEAL! Interview Magazin as publisher and editor-in-chief. The list of her interview partners reads like a who’s who of the international entertainment industry: Daniel Craig, Julianne Moore, Sean Paul, Andreas Bourani, H.P. Baxxter, Moritz Bleibtreu, Jürgen Vogel, Helge Schneider, Oliver Kalkofe, Armin Rohde, Peter Maffay, Tim Mälzer, and many more.

From 2014, Madita van Hülsen works for five years alongside her life in the spotlight as a certified grief counsellor. In 2016, her book “Vergiss mein nie – Mit Erinnerungen die Trauer gestalten” (Forget Me Not – Shaping Grief Through Memories) is published. It is a deeply personal mission for her to bring this subject out of silence and back into everyday life.
