After the successful celebrity specials in previous years, the format is now getting its own season for the first time. In seven episodes, celebrity contestants face exciting culinary challenges. In addition to “Tagesschau” legend Jan Hofer, actress Jenny Elvers and singer and actress Jeanette Biedermann, nine other celebrities will venture into the kitchen.
The teams will be supported by experienced coaches Alexander Herrmann, Frank Rosin, Tim Raue and Alex Kumptner, who will guide them through the culinary challenges with their experience, creativity and precision. Changing, as yet secret guest judges will provide additional excitement.
The first season of “Promi Taste” starts on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 20:15 on SAT.1 and is available in parallel on the streaming platform Joyn.
