Passion, authenticity, and professionalism
Jorge González
Jorge González shapes his own path in show business—always on his own terms.

Jorge González:
In the mid-1980s, Jorge González left his homeland of Cuba to study nuclear ecology in what was then Czechoslovakia—the first of many radical new beginnings that would shape his life.
While completing his degree, Jorge González was already making waves as a model, stylist, and choreographer—early signs of the creative career that lay ahead.
But the narrow confines of the Eastern Bloc felt like a costume far too tight for González. Before the Iron Curtain even fell, he fled to the West—branded a traitor in Cuba. His newfound freedom came at a heavy price: for eight long years, Jorge González didn’t know if he would ever see his family again.
Once again, Jorge González started over—this time in Hamburg. He worked on projects with the likes of Gianni Versace, Vivienne Westwood, and Laura Biagiotti. Through it all, even in the toughest times, he never lost one of his most defining traits: his loud, open, unmistakable laugh—a true reflection of his Cuban zest for life.
In traditionally reserved Hamburg, people found Jorge González to be a refreshing breath of fresh air. His charmingly unique accent and his signature “Hola Chicas!” were made for the spotlight. It was only natural that in 2010 he was discovered by the hit casting show Germany’s Next Topmodel by Heidi Klum (ProSieben). Since 2013, he has brought his flair to the dance show Let’s Dance (RTL) as a judge, securing his place as a fixture of German television. Internationally, he became a familiar face on E! Entertainment and caused a stir on the US primetime show The World’s Best (CBS), hosted by James Corden.
In a fast-paced TV world, audience favorite and brand ambassador Jorge González stands out as one thing above all: unmistakable and one of a kind.
